Game Two - Part 5

This is an asset list for my second game set accordingly to what i found high priority to low priority;

I found that the level was my highest priority as i was going on from something i had pictured instead of a drawn map, so it was important for me to sit down and build it before it was gone. After a few tweaks and adjustments my level came out better than i imagined it would. I then added everything else accordingly in the asset list. I did have some trouble with the white light and it not corosponding with the total pickups inorder to complete the level but once i sorted that out everything else came together quite well, im happy to say that my second game is complete and ready to be played.

Game Two - Part 4

Once you've collected all 9 planets and run into the white light within the 90 second time frame you have successfully completed the game. You will be prompt by a gui button if you'd like to play again or head to the menu where you can then exit also.

 I completed my game level with a bit of bumps along the way but it turned out ok. I didnt have much time left as i spent alot of it on my game level but i put a quick home and help screen together for the game.

The text was just made in unity along with the heading. I got the buttons to function properly and then made my help scene.

A home button was added at the top right so your able to return home once finished with the help screen. I wrote a short description of what to do in order to save the universe including a map of the controls, now that you have been informed and know how to play its time to save the universe!

Game Two - Part 3

This is the beginning of my level; you have your first pickup in front of you and the rest you’ll have to find on your own. There is a gui label count on the top left of the screen and a quit button to exit at all times. To keep the game interesting i added some fog to add a bit of difficulty but not too much and a 90 second timer to complete the level, hence where i came up with the name of my game (Save The Universe In 90's). I done a lot of time testing to figure out how much time is necessary but still challenging enough to have fun.

As you can see the closer you get the pickup the brighter it gets. After playing the game multiple times i have decided to make the planets hover and spin on the spot to give the game a better feel instead of it just being an ordinary object stuck in place.

As shown some pickups were visible and easily found where as others were hidden behind walls or under paths to add difficulty. In this case it was Uranus that was hidden under the walk path on the way to the finish point.
