I incorporated the buttons and title i made in photoshop to a free jungle background that i got from google images to make my home screen. I put 2 of the trees i modled on each side of the menu list and animated the player rolling back and forth across the screen. There is also a nice tune playing in the background that i downloaded from a free sounds site.
When the play button is pressed the game screen starts and is ready for playing. When the help button is pressed, it redirects you to another scene with helpful information on playing the game;
So in my game i just applied your basic wasd controls to move the character. All the texts and wasd buttons were made in photoshop. I kept the background and home button in place to keep it consistant. The credits scene contain the maker of the game (myself) and the people involved in the teaching process. Yes ofcourse the quit button exits you from the game, no need to F4.
So this is my asset list overlooking what I think were my
highest to lowest priorities of my game. The main part of the game for me was to build my
level, get the player movement working which wasn’t too difficult and to have
the pickups working accordingly with the gui. Everything else included in my
game such as the home/help/credit scenes, all the buttons throughout the game,
the background image, sound and animation were added once the game level was completed
and running according to my liking. After all im happy
After all im happy to say that Game One's Complete!!!
